Batch:

  1. NEW: This 2020 version is being released now, because we have a MAJOR licensing update, and we want to give customers plenty of time to update. This update will not be required until January 1st, 2020 (this means you have seven (7) months to update). At that time, though, if you are not on 2020, the activation key will not work. We were forced to do this update to ensure ALL customers have updated their software. Due to licensing variances with different licenses and editions, we have some customers that still have not updated in 3-5 years. This update will force everyone to update, because otherwise it will be impossible to license a non-updated installation. Some log file messages were also added related to licensing.
  2. UPDATED : In 2018.340/345 we introduced our new proprietary "Smart Auto HTML" format. We have greatly improved how this feature works (thanks for all the feedback!). We've built even more "smarts" into the feature. We've added additional CSS settings to further customize the output. Header and Footer HTML is now centered, and we can give you sample HTML Table tags/code to add images to headers and footers. Again, this is the ONLY HTML format we can fully support to give you proper output from Crystal Reports. All we need is the PRODUCTION report you want to output with SAVED DATA (we will not work/design "test" reports --- it must be production). We've also updated the default CSS. Note, if you need to make changes to the CSS, make a COPY of the CSS and use the batch-specific INI setting "SmartHTMLCustomCSSFileName" to point to your custom settings (because the default settings can and will get overwritten when an update is released). Also added numerous log file messages to help with debugging this new feature.
  3. UPDATED: Increased the default timeout when sending email to 60 seconds (previously it was 30 seconds) and added some new related settings to JNRRB.INI. Users can also increase or decrease the time now via settings under the [Options] group in JNRRB.INI. The new settings are SMTPTimeOutConnect=60 and SMTPTimeOutRead=60. By default, if an email fails for any reason and/or times out, if it's scheduled, the email will automatically be retried five (5) times. If you do not wanto to retry sending the email, you can now set SMTPErrorRetries=0.
  4. UPDATED: Added additional easy licensing error messages to explain licensing failures (invalid response --- which indicates a firewall or security software is blocking access to our server); also added checks for German and Dutch licensing error messages.
  5. UPDATED: Modified news file
  6. UPDATED: Added more debugging information to crash reporting/auto-ticket process; also added/tweaked crash prevention related to "please wait" form
  7. UPDATED: Numerous new log file messages
  8. UPDATED: Extended evaluation license expiration date

As always, to update, you only need to run the Updater (just once), to update your software (no matter the current version you are on).
